PAETORO worked closely with Ardent Oil from Q2 2017 to Q1 2020 on their offshore Denmark Portfolio, and in particular their Jarnsaxa prospect. While the acreage is now relinquished and new hydrocarbon exploration offshore Denmark is ceasing, the prospect evaluation provides important insights into fractured basement prospects and the ability of modern seismic to resolve associated structures. While Paetoro's own emphasis is shifting away from oil and gas exploration, the learnings possible from this impressive structure are relevant to a range of sectors where discernment of fractured basement structure is of economic importance. This includes critical mineral and geothermal exploration and production.
